In December, a Christian community in Pakistan reached out to Dr. Joke Solanke, asking if she could help them obtain Bibles. They had previously tried to order Bibles, but tragically received Qurans instead.
Moved by their request, Dr. Joke partnered with a publishing company to ensure that the right Word was delivered. By God’s grace, 80 copies of the Bible were printed and sent to this community.
The joy was overwhelming. On January 31st, Dr. Joke’s birthday, the community held a special celebration to honour her and rejoice in receiving the Scriptures. More than a hundred people, including children, were fed during the gathering, and the atmosphere was filled with gratitude and praise.
This event reminds us of the power of God’s Word to transform lives and the importance of standing with communities who hunger for truth.
